“To be honest- this winter (early February) trip is not for the weak! It was freezing! I had on a fleece lined base layer (top and bottoms), a turtleneck sweater, a fleece vest, snow bibs, a puffer jacket and an OmniHeat hooded parka with hand warmers and I was still freezing!!!! Not to even mention having to pee and stripping down all of those layers IN AN OUTHOUSE!!! Just getting out of the tour van for 5 minutes felt like an eternity! “Fantastic tour. Of course mostly because we saw lights but a big part of it was the tour guide Victoria was very good and high energy. She really pushed driver Wieslaw (son of Hemrik) to go different places and he was very great to do so. She took pics for us, shared stories, creepy Christmas folklore and lullaby's popular in Iceland and ever went through naming children's and how names are made. We had four tours while here and these were the best guides and drivers out of all we did. Thank you so much!!!!! And what an awesome display of the lights!! Will treasure those pics for rest of…”
